Lee Valley VeloPark

Description
These disability hub sessions were developed in order to help riders improve their cycling technique, fitness and confidence, with qualified coaches providing tailored support. Riders attend disability hubs with a variety of goals: whether that’s to get into the sport, rehabilitate after an injury or train for competition – right up to talent identification for the Great Britain Cycling Team. These sessions are run in partnership with British Cycling and Wheels for Wellbeing.
Adapted equipment is available to use, with bikes, handcycles, trikes and tandems on-site. Friends and family are also welcome to ride for free.
Riders can access activities on a 1.6km closed road circuit and the 250m indoor velodrome. Car parking, changing facilities and equipment can all be accessed, though bikes are only available for riders 4’10”/148 cm and taller to make use of.
